Configuration procedure
To configure the RMON alarm function:

entrytype { forever | cycle cycle-period } [ owner text ]
Use at least one
command.
NOTE:
•
A new entry cannot be created if its parameters are identical with the corresponding parameters of an
existing entry. See
Table 3 for the parameters to be compared for different entries.
• The system limits the total number of each type of entries (See Table 3 for the detailed numbers). When
the total number of an entry reaches the maximum number of entries that can be created, the creation
fails.
