9.3.2. Replacing WNR Battery
µWNR battery should be replaced when the capacity drops below a certain level. The system includes two
battery level indicators.
To view the µWNR battery level, do one of the following:
Master Wireless Gateway Setup Site

In the Master Wireless Gateway Setup Site, go to
Status
→
Wireless Gateway Map
.

This screen displays data on the station equipment in a hierarchical tree structure.
Expand the µWNR unit node
3.
The battery icon is red-colored when the battery level is below 30%
Master Wireless Gateway VIU Log
1.
In the Master Wireless Gateway Setup Site, go to
Setup
→
Log Level
and select the
Data
checkbox in the VIU row. See

Connect your PC to the Master Wireless Gateway via LAN, using a terminal application
(such as HyperTerminal)
3.
Attach the µWNR to a Fuel Ring to receive data

The Battery VccLevel parameter shows the battery level in percentage. Please note that
the value is shown in 1/100 (see
)

Note: After battery level drops below 30%, replace the battery at a convenient time. Life
span depends on different factors, but mostly on the frequency of use.
Note: Do not mix old and new batteries or battery types. Use only P/N 812539200
(Manufacturer P/N XENO XLP-055F)

Remove the three Allen screws that secure the back and front covers (see

the back cover
