Troubleshooting: Dell™ PowerVault™ 136T LTO Library User's Guide
When a failure occurs, the PowerVault 136T LTO Library firmware performs error recovery and reporting. If the failure requires a service call, two-
byte Service Action Codes (SACs) are generated and posted to the Operator panel. The following list details the two-byte definition.

xx represents the modifier to the Service Action Code

10 represents the Picker Controller

20 represents the Display Assembly

3x represents the Drive Sled

x represents the Drive ID

40 represents the SCSI Controller

50 represents the Remote Management Unit (RMU)
When an operator intervention is required, a message is generated at the Operator Panel. See
for operator intervention messages and
parameters.
Additionally, information messages that relate to the current operation are posted to the Operator panel. See
Service Action Codes
Table 1 lists the SACs and the corresponding actions that the operator can take. If the stated remedy does not clear the SAC code, information
about how to contact Dell Customer Support is located in the
Getting Help
section.

Type 4 Software errors (Inter Processor) including Microcode and Operating System errors.

05 xx
A permanent Operating System error occurred.

Barcode scanner communications failed.
Retry the failing operation.
