Install Seed Hoses
Refer to Figure 125
If seed hoses
are already connected, continue at
“Apply Seed Hopper Decals”
Seed Hose Lengths
Seed hose
may be provided as an uncut coil.
Required length is different for front and rear row units.
Connect Front Seed Hoses
if front seed hoses are already connected, or the planter
only rear row units, continue at “Connect Rear Seed
Hoses”.
275. Select or cut one 25 cm length of:
990-253R HOSE 2 ID POLYP HELIX
276. Select two:
800-203C CLAMP WRM DRV #32SS (1.56-2.5)
Place the clamps over each end of the cut hose
length
.
277. Slide each end of the hose fully onto the
discharge weldment exit tube and onto the
meter seed inlet elbow for a length of 4 cm.
Secure with clamps .
Connect Rear Seed Hoses
278. Select or cut one 22 cm length of:
990-253R HOSE 2 ID POLYP HELIX
279. Select two:
800-203C CLAMP WRM DRV #32SS (1.56-2.5)
Place the clamps over each end of the cut hose
length
.
280. Slide each end of the hose fully onto the
discharge weldment exit tube and onto the
meter seed inlet elbow for a length of 4 cm.
Secure with clamps .
