170. Select one:
401-022H HITCH WELDMENT
and two sets:
802-262C HHCS 5/8-11X7 GR5
803-263C NUT HEX FLANGE LOCK 5/8-11 PLT
Attach hitch weldment to tongue using two
bolts through both tongue weldment and hitch.
See 401-754M Operator manual for leveling
adjustment. Secure with lock nuts
.
If the safety chain is already installed, continue at “Install
Air System”.
171. Select one set:
802-064C HHCS 3/4-10X2 GR5
177-587D SAFETY CHAIN WASHER
890-182C SAFETY CHAIN 10000 LB
803-181C NUT HEX FLANGE LOCK 3/4-10 PLT
Place the washer on the bolt . Attach the
safety chain to the left side of the hitch plates at
the tongue. Secure with lock nut .
Install Air System
Prepare Air Pipe Supports
Refer to Figure 81
172. At each air pipe support
, loosen the lock
washer and nut at the upper bolt .
Remove and save the lower fasteners:
802-172C HHCS 5/16-18X2 1/2 GR5
804-009C WASHER LOCK SPRING 5/16 PLT
803-008C NUT HEX 5/16-18 PLT
Swing the clamp to vertical and slightly tighten
the upper fasteners.
Install Air Manifold
Refer to Figure 82
173. Select one of:
403-569K 6 ROW TRIPLE MANIFOLD ASY
403-571K 6 ROW TWIN MANIFOLD ASY 110
403-573K 9 ROW SINGLE MANIFOLD ASY 65
Identify which are “front” and “top” on the manifold.
The open inlet of the center pipe fitting (tee
)
faces to front. The supporting square tube is on
top.
