Electrical System
FORK VALVE –
VOLTAGE TOO
LOW 4413 Fork valve controller detects
supply voltage < 9V. Y Recharge batteries or check for damaged
batteries.
Verify consistent voltage readings at other
control modules via the Analyzer under
Diagnostics/System Power. If the module
is providing an inconsistent reading, check
for faulty wiring to the module using a
multimeter.
FORK VALVE –
VOLTAGE TOO
HIGH 4414 Fork valve controller detects
supply voltage > 17V for 1
second. Y May be due to improper battery charging
or incorrect voltage batteries being used.
Verify consistent voltage readings at other
control modules via the Analyzer under
Diagnostics/System Power. If
inconsistent, check voltage going into
module. If inconsistent with other modules
or reading on Analyzer, module
replacement may be required.
ISP – VOLTAGE
TOO LOW 4415 ISP controller detects supply
voltage < 9V for 1 second. Y Recharge batteries or check for damaged
batteries.
Verify consistent voltage readings at other
control modules via the Analyzer under
Diagnostics/System Power. If the module
is providing an inconsistent reading, check
for faulty wiring to the module using a
multimeter.
ISP – VOLTAGE
TOO HIGH 4416 ISP controller detects supply
voltage > 17V for 1 second. Y May be due to improper battery charging
or incorrect voltage batteries being used.
Verify consistent voltage readings at other
control modules via the Analyzer under
Diagnostics/System Power. If
inconsistent, check voltage going into
module. If inconsistent with other modules
or reading on Analyzer, module
replacement may be required.
LIFT VALVE COIL
1 – SHORT TO
GROUND OR
OPEN CIRCUIT 4546 Lift valve controller detects
too large of an error between
coil drive current and
feedback. Detection shall
occur during Startup and
Powered Down (into object)
only. Y Inspect wiring for physical damage.
Check for continuity through this circuit.
On the 12-pin valve controller connector,
verify that the LIFT V1 wire in pin 3 and
LIFT V1 RTN in pin 8 are properly seated,
as well as the connections on the V1 coil.
Current Command and Feedback values
may be monitored via the Analyzer under
Diagnostics/Lift Valve to help with the
assessment.
