Electrical System
BOOM RIDE 
MODE SWITCH

Boom Ride Mode Switch 
read by UGM as closed 
during system startup.

Turn Boom Ride Mode switch off (open 
state), then back on (closed state).
Press button to confirm that button is 
functional. If fault persists, check under 
Diagnostics/Ground to verify that the 
switch changes state. Check to determine 
whether a power cycle will clear the DTC.
Check continuity of wiring connections.
AUXILIARY 
HYDRAULICS 
JOYSTICK – 
NEUTRAL 
DISAGREEMENT

The Aux Hydraulic joystick is 
within its centered deadband 
and one of the out-of-neutral 
directional switches is closed 
or the joystick is outside its 
deadband and the 
respective directional switch 
is not closed.

Center joystick and check to see if a power 
cycle will clear DTC.
If not, swap connector between Aux 
Hydraulics joystick and an adjacent Mini 
Joystick to determine whether the Aux 
Hydraulics joystick is faulty. If the joystick 
is fine, focus troubleshooting efforts on the 
connector and wiring as detailed in DTC 
2127. 
Check continuity of wiring connections.
AUXILIARY

JOYSTICK – OUT 
OF RANGE HIGH

The Aux Hydraulic joystick 
voltage has reached the high 
error limit defined in 
Personalities.

Center joystick and check to see if a power 
cycle will clear DTC.
If not, swap connector between Auxiliary 
Hydraulics joystick and an adjacent Mini 
Joystick to determine whether the 
Auxiliary Hydraulics joystick is faulty. If the 
joystick is fine, focus troubleshooting 
efforts on the connector and wiring as 
detailed in DTC 2127.
Check continuity of wiring connections.
