As each of ingredients must have its name and mass specified, the operator
must know the exact composition of the total mixture. Adding a formulation to
the database of formulas is carried out from the database level.
Procedure:
•
Enter submenu < Databases>, press < Formulation> field
•
Press <
Add > soft key, should a formulation be added
On selecting adding of a new formulation, the software automatically adds a
new entry in the database, and enters its editing mode. Insert all parameters
of a new formulation.
List of parameters defined for a formulation:
1. Name: press “Name” field, a window opens for inserting name of a
formulation,
2. Code: for inserting formulation code
3. Ingredients: press “Ingredients’ field, a window opens with a list of
ingredients used in a formulation (in case of a new formulation, the list
of ingredients is empty), add new ingredients to a formulation:

Press <
Add > soft key

Select one of available options:
database of products. On selecting this option, first insert a name of a
new product, then specify its mass to be weighed during formula
making process. The software automatically adds the products to the
database of products.
Caution: after adding the product, balance user can fill in other data on
a product from the database level.
window with the Database of Products is opened. Using displayed list
select a product to be weighed in the mixture, mass to be weighed is
the mass of the product saved in its record in the database.
The value of mass of each added product is editable. Changing mass of
an ingredient in a formula does not change product’s mass saved in the
database.
4. Number of inredients – non-editable option, it is updated by the
software on adding the following ingredient to a formulation.
5. Sum – target mass of a formulation, i.e. sum of all ingredients in a
formulation. It is not editable, and it is updated by the software on
adding the following ingredient to a formulation.
