The specifications for the axes in the delivery scope of
WinPISA are usually preset on the step mode 1/2 as well as
on a start−stop frequency of 400 Hz.
Recommendation:
In order to achieve smaller susceptibility for resonance efĆ
fects, operate 2−phase stepping motors with step mode 1/2.
Note that the torque of the motor is thereby reduced.

Caution
By unfavorable choice of the start−stop frequency resonĆ
ance effects can occur with positioning the axis, which can
lead to step losses.
Consider the manufacturer data for the permitted operatĆ
ing conditions of the used motors and drives, e.g. for the
permitted start−stop frequency.
