4. Advanced debug information is displayed. If your
authorized dealer or technician directs you to do so,
press the Save to File button to save the information to
a log file. See

“Log File” on page 30

for instructions on

saving and transferring a log file.

Configure SIM

The Configure SIM screen is used for the initial configuration of your customer-supplied SIM. Contact
your cell carrier for the Access Point Name (APN), Username, and Password.

Note:

A Username and Password is not always required and can often be left blank.

To configure your SIM:

1. From the AutoSteer Setup screen, press the
Connections button. The Connections menu appears.
2. Press the Cell Modem button. The Cell Modem
screen appears.
3. Press the Configure SIM button. The Configure SIM
screen appears.

4. Press the Edit button next to the
field. The Enter Your Access Point keyboard screen
appears.
5. Enter the name of your access point, and then
press the check mark button. The Configure SIM
screen reappears.
