Change Channel
The radio used with the ParaDyme system provides communication with a Base Station to produce
repeatable sub-inch accuracy. The radio also communicates with the Roof Module for GPS correction
information. The radio must be configured for the correct radio channel (for 900 MHz radio) or frequency
(for AFlink radio) in order to provide correction information. Also, any time you want to use different Base
Station (or repeater) hardware, you must change the radio channel.
The radio enables the system to receive RTK corrections from the Base Station set to the same radio
channel. The channel item enables you to enter the channel number or frequency number that
corresponds to an appropriate base station.
Note:
Before proceeding with the Radio Channel Configuration procedure, ensure your Base Station
is properly installed and operational. Also, ensure the RTK radio is set to the same channel or
frequency as the Base Station radio. See your Base Station Manual for installation and operation
instructions.
