Adjusting Manual Steering Override
There are three methods to adjust manual steering
override.
• AutoCal - Use this method first. See
Override Adjustment” on page 26
• Adjusting Samples Required setting - if kick-out is
not satisfactory using AutoCal, adjust samples required
setting. See
“Adjusting Samples Required setting” on
• Manual Steering Override Adjustment - if kick-out is
still not satisfactory after using the previous two
methods, use manual steering override adjustment. See
“Manual Steering Override Adjustment” on page 28
Adjusting Samples Required setting
To adjust the Samples Required, press the Change
Samples button (shown above). If the system
disengages too easily press the arrow to delete the
current setting and enter the new setting value.
• Decreasing the Samples Required will reduce the
length of time the kick-out signal needs to be sent from
the pressure transducer before it will kick the system out
of autosteering. This will make the system more
sensitive to kick-out signals.
• Increasing the Samples Required will increase the
length of time the kick-out signal needs to be sent from
the pressure transducer before it will kick the system out
of autosteering. This will make the system less sensitive
to the kick-out signal.
After adjusting the Samples Required setting test the system kick-out for proper function. If satisfactory
results are not achieved re-adjust the setting and re-test. Repeat this process until satisfactory kick-out
is achieved.
