Port A Configuration
The Port A Configuration option enables you to configure the Baud Rate for your NMEA message
output.
Note:
Changing the Baud Rate on the NMEA Out screen also changes the Baud Rate as displayed
in the External Radio screen. See
. Port A can be used simultaneously for
the External Radio and NMEA Out, but both functions must use the same Baud Rate.
To configure the Baud rate:
1. Select the Port A Configuration item from the
scrolling list on the right and press the Change Baud
Rate button. The Available Baud Rates screen
appears.
2. Select a baud rate and press the check mark button.
The NMEA Out screen appears and your changes are
saved.
Port B Messages and Configuration
The procedures to enable and edit Port B messages is identical to those for Port A with the following
exception: We strongly recommend that you reboot the ParaDyme system when you turn ON Port B
messages for the first time and when you turn OFF all Port B messages.
Note:
Port B is used only for NMEA Out. It is not used for the External Radio.
