NTRIP
The NTRIP screen enables you to connect to NTRIP based GPS correction sources (RTK, OmniSTAR,
WAAS) via a cell modem.
NTRIP (Network Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol) is a standard protocol for providing GPS data
and corrections over the Internet to improve accuracy. The ParaDyme system currently supports the
following stream types:
CMR+, RTCM 2.x, RTCM 3.x. Contact your dealer for details on how to configure your system for
NTRIP.
Note:
Actual NTRIP coverage may vary depending on system availability, equipment, terrain, signal
strength, weather conditions and other conditions. Contact your dealer for details about NTRIP
service providers in your area.
Note: The availability, quality, integrity, content, and reliability of the NTRIP provider data streams (correction
signals) is not guaranteed and neither is the reliability of the cellular network. Access and use of the service provider
data streams may be monitored for reporting and other purposes.
To access a correction signals source via a NTRIP connection:
1. Press the NTRIP button from the GPS menu. The
NTRIP screen appears.
2. There are two NTRIP options available. Refer to the
following sections for details.
Note:
If no profile exists, both the Connect and Disconnect buttons are greyed out.
