Setting dialing and detection options
Use the following procedures to set a dialing prefix, redial options, or tone detection.
Setting a dialing prefix
Use the dialing prefix setting to specify a prefix number (such as a “9” to gain access to an outside line) that is automatically
added to all phone numbers when they are dialed.
To set a dialing prefix
Note You might need a pause between the prefix and the phone number. To insert a two second pause, type a
comma (,).
1 Press the M ENU button.
2 Touch F AX .
3 Scroll to and touch F AX S END .
4 Scroll to and touch D IAL P REFIX .
