Receiving fax problems
Use this table to solve problems that might occur when receiving faxes.
The volume for sounds coming
from the fax is too loud or too
quiet. The volume setting needs to be
adjusted. See chapter 4 of the User Reference Guide
on the CD-ROM for more information about
changing the sound-volume settings.
Problem Cause Solution
Incoming fax calls are not being
answered by the fax (no fax
detected). The rings-to-answer setting might not
be set correctly. Check the rings-to-answer setting. See
chapter 4 of the User Reference Guide on the
