When load balancing is supported in a cluster configuration, HDLM uses a path of the active
host
to access an LU.

For example, in Figure 2.16, when HDLM uses a path that passes through the path (A) of the
active host to access a device within the LU, if the path is placed offline, HDLM switches to
a path that passes through the path (B) of the active host to continue processing.

The trigger for switching hosts depends on the cluster software.
