4. The OIT attempts to write 0 to the status coils (if feature not disabled in
OITware-200). If not successful, the following message is displayed:
OIT Model Message
OIT3100 and OIT4100 Series Cannot write to the
Status Coils!
All other models Error: Setting up StatusCoils On Startup
5. The OIT attempts to write 1 to the Reset status coil (if status coils are enabled). If not
successful, the following message is displayed:
OIT Model Message
OIT3100 and OIT4100 Series Cannot set the
Reset Status Coil!
All other models Error: Setting STAT_RESET during Startup
6. The OIT attempts to write 1 to the Alarm Stack Empty status coil (if status coils are
enabled). If not successful, the following message is displayed:
OIT Model Message
OIT3100 and OIT4100 Series Cannot set the Alarm
Empty Status Coil!
All other models Error: Setting ALM_EMPTY During Startup
7. If the global function keys were configured for Default mode, the OIT attempts to
write 0 to the function key coils. If the global function keys were configured for
Retentive mode, the OIT attempts to read the function key coils. If not successful, the
following message is displayed:
OIT Model Message
OIT3100 and OIT4100 Series Cannot write to the
Function Key Coils!
All other models Error: Setting up KeyCoils On Startup
8. If the OIT successfully competes the above steps, the following message is displayed:
OIT Model Message
OIT3100 and OIT4100 Series Connecting to PLC!
All other models
Attach Sequence Successful!
9. The OIT beeps for one second and then displays the startup message configured in
OITware-200. If no startup message was configured, the OIT displays a blank screen.
