2. Type the setup password and then press the following key on the OIT. If there is no
setup password, just press the following key.
NOTE:You must start entering your password within 5 seconds, or the OIT exits setup mode.

The OIT is now in download/upload mode waiting for instructions from
OITware-200.
If You Have Trouble Entering Download/Upload Mode or OIT displays a
blank screen
1. If the “<<< Initializing >>>” message is followed by “Attaching to
PLC”, the OIT did not enter setup mode and you need to repeat Step 1.
2. If the OIT’s display remains blank and you do not hear a steady beeping, the OIT
may be communicating to the PLC. Apply power to the OIT and check that the
“Initializing” and “Attaching to PLC” prompts appear. If you see these messages
before the screen goes blank, then the OIT is communicating to the PLC and waiting
for a command from the PLC to display a message.
