Place the OIT in Download/Upload Mode
New OIT
If the OIT has never been configured, the following message appears when power is
applied to the OIT:
OIT Model Message
OIT3100 and OIT4100 Series
OIT not Configured!
Press Key for Dnload
All other models
***System is not Configured***
Press Any Key to Enter Download Mode
Pressing any key on the OIT causes the OIT to enter download/upload mode. The
following message appears:
OIT Model Message
OIT3100 and OIT4100 Series
**Download Mode**
Please Load Project!
All other models
***Computer Communications Mode***
Computer Will Reset OIT When Done...
Existing OIT
If your OIT has already been configured, follow these steps to place it in
download/upload mode:
1. While applying power to the OIT, press and hold the following key on the OIT while
the “<<< Initializing >>>” message appears.
OIT Model Key
OIT3160, OIT4160 CLEAR
OIT3100 and OIT4100 Series,
except 3160/4160
bottom key on right side of keypad
All other models SETUP
The following message should appear:
OIT Model Message
OIT3100 and OIT4100 Series Setup Password:
All other models Enter Setup Password:
