General
This example is a mixed project using the Trainer module functionality along with an Analyzer
engine.
It opens an existing Analyzer project and runs it. It can also open a generation script and run
generation along with running the Analyzer.
This application requires attachment to a board. You must make sure that your board is
connected to your system by USB or TCP.
Specification
• In the first window, enter the device ID of the board (written on the hardware case) in
hexadecimal format. Enter the interface (USB or TCP) and product (SAS or SATA).
• The selected Analyzer capture-project port setting should be Analyzer/Trainer on Port
I1/T1, because theTrainer is configured to send generation data on the I1/T1 port in
StartGeneration mode. To run other projects, change the portconfiguration parameter
in StartGeneration to match the project.
• After selecting an Analyzer project and Trainer script, start both of the engines
simultaneously.
• Some LED like icons show the latest generation engine status: start/stop status,
pause/resume, and link connect/disconnect status.
• When you stop an Analyzer project, the captured sample file is saved on the directory
indicated in the project.
Limitation
• You can run only an Analyzer project with the Trainer engine.
• The Analyzer project port config should be Analyzer/Trainer on I1/T1. To use the sample
with other capture projects, change the StartGeneration() Method parameters in the
sample.
