Recording a grab-and-hold greeting
In the Client you can record a special greeting called a grab-and-hold greeting that
Strata CS plays to callers when you put incoming calls on hold without talking to
the callers first. For more information about how to record and use a
grab-and-hold greeting in the Client, see “Using grab-and-hold on the call” on
page 10-7.
Managing your greetings _______________________________
To manage your greetings by using the telephone commands, log in and press
4
.
Strata CS plays each of your greetings, beginning with the active greeting. You
can use the commands shown in the following table either while you listen to a
greeting or after a greeting has played.
When you record a new greeting by using the telephone commands, the greeting
appears in the Client’s Greetings view with the name “Greeting.” You can give
the greeting a name in the Client (see “Managing views and items” on page 7-10).
Note:
When you make a greeting your active greeting by using the telephone
commands, the greeting also becomes the personal status default greeting. See
“Personal status defaults” on page 8-12.
