Connecting with External Device
Connecting with External Device
You can connect audio devices to play the sound of the
ATELIER through the speakers of your audio system, or to
record your performance on a tape recorder or other
recording device.
When connecting, please use an audio cable with a
standard phone plug, such as the PCS-100PW (sold
separately).
Connecting Speakers to the ATELIER
and Outputting Sounds
1.
Turn the volume all the way down on the ATELIER
and on the speaker you’re about to connect.
2.
Turn off the power to the ATELIER and the
speaker.
3.
Use audio cables (sold separately) to make the
connection.
4.
Switch on the ATELIER.
5.
Switch on the connected speaker.
6.
Adjust the volume level on the ATELIER and the
connected speaker.
When you play the ATELIER’s keyboard, the sound is
played from the connected speakers.
Turning Off the Power
1.
Turn the volume all the way down on the
ATELIER and on the speaker you’re about to
connect.
2.
Turn off the connected speaker.
3.
Turn off the ATELIER.
Playing Sounds from Audio Equipment
Through the ATELIER
1.
Turn the volume all the way down on the
ATELIER and on the audio device you’re about
to connect.
Connecting to Audio Equipment
* When connection cables with resistors are used, the volume
level of equipment connected to the input jacks may be low.
If this happens, use connection cables that do not contain
resistors.
* To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other
devices, always turn down the volume, and turn off the
power on all devices before making any connections.
