Up-Mix
This section contains information relating to the Imagestore 750 Up-Mix
from stereo to 5.1 surround.
Introduction
Up-Mix is the solution for dealing with 2-channel audio in a 5.1-channel
environment and the Up-Mix audio option adds integral up-mix functionality
into the Imagestore 750.
This is used to create a multi-channel compatible audio signal from a stereo
source. The up-mixing employed supports the Linear Acoustic upMAX
TM
up-mixing algorithm.
Note: A total of up to four Dolby Encode, Dolby Decode and Up-Mix
audio modules can be fitted within the Imagestore at one time.
