EAS
When an Emergency Alert System (EAS) unit is connected to a serial port on
the Imagestore 750 the port should be set to the appropriate protocol
standard:
•
ENDEC 1822
•
TFT EAS 911T

RCP Classic
If an IS300-RCP unit is connected to the Imagestore 750 then the connected
port must be set to RCP Classic. Please see page 185 for details of RCP
operation.
Automation
In all other cases where the Imagestore 750 is being controlled by automation
or a Presmaster system set the port to Automation.
Serial Type
The serial type can be set to RS232 or RS422 depending on requirements.
Serial Level
This setting defines the strictness with which the Imagestore treats the STX
(STX0 or STX1) that is received with each external automation command on
any port. The setting is global to the Imagestore and so applies equally to all
serial and network ports that are under external automation control.
Please refer to the Oxtel Automation Protocol documentation for more
information on STX and automation packets.
Strict
The value automation uses for the STX must alternate between STX0 and
STX1. Good messages receive a response of ACK0 or ACK1 (the ACK
