As the Imagestore 750 retains the last EAS message received (unless it is
restarted), the EASNone.oxa crawl will only be seen when the EAS mode is
activated and no EAS crawl has been received or an EAS message is
received with no alert level.
Control of EAS via the Front Panel
EAS Receivers
The supported EAS receivers are:
•
Sage ENDEC Model 1822
•
TFT EAS 911
To select the required EAS model select:
Setup > System Setup > Serial Comms Setup > COMx > Protocol
Use the joystick arrows ⊳ to select the required EAS unit then press enter.
Baud Rates
Baud rates need to be set correctly when the appropriate EAS unit is selected.
Load EAS (EAS On)
Setting EAS On will load the EAS message into memory. It will cut down the
DSK1, DSK2 and DSK3 keyers if active and load the EAS template (as
specified by the priority of the stored message) to bring the crawl to air on
DSK4.
