Serial Comms
This sets the serial port type, baud rate and protocol for each of the four
communication ports on the rear panel – (COM 1 to 4).
Baud Rate
The baud rate can be set to 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 or 115200.
The factory default for all serial ports is 57600.
Note:
For Presmaster it is recommended to set the baud rate as 57600
in conjunction with serial type as RS422.
Protocol
The protocol can be set for Automation, Presmaster, Intuition or either of the
two EAS units.
Presmaster
If the Imagestore 750 is being controlled by a Presmaster system then the
connected port may be set to either Presmaster or Automation.
Note:
Presmaster software version 4.6 or higher is required for
compatibility with Imagestore 750. Otherwise tallies for DSK3
and DSK4 will not be understood by the Presmaster Control
System.
Intuition
If an Intuition unit is connected to the Imagestore 750 (for control via pass-
through commands) then the connected port must be set to Intuition.
