Troubleshooting
There are several LEDs on the front edge of the 3Gb/s board that should be
used for Troubleshooting. The location for these LEDs is shown in

as they appear on the board.

Description
Indication and Condition
3G
When the 3G LED is lit it means that the board is pro-
cessing up to 3 Gb/s signals.
On: (BLUE) Processing up to 3
Gb/s signals.
Off: Processing SD or HD sig-
nals only.
DIAG
Not used at this time.
On: (RED) Diagnostics in pro-
cess (factory use)
Off: Normal use.
OVER TEMP
When the OVER TEMP LED is lit it means that the
board’s temperature is too hot.
On: (RED) Over temperature.
Off: Normal use.
PARITY ERROR
When the PARITY ERROR LED is lit it means that a parity
error has occurred.
On: Parity error
Off: Normal use.
ERROR
When the ERROR LED is lit it means that a failure has
occurred. If it is not lit, the board condition is normal.
On: (RED) Failure.
Off: Normal.
BUSY
When the BUSY LED is lit it means that the board is in
use.
On: (YELLOW) Indicates an
active board.
Off: Indicates an inactive board.
