Configuring the fabric timers

The fabric operation involves the following timers:

Distributed service timeout period.

Error detection timeout period.

Resource allocation timeout period.

For more information about these timers, see FC-related protocols and standards.
You can configure fabric timers in one of the following views:

System view—The configuration takes effect on all VSANs.

VSAN view—The configuration takes effect on only the VSAN.

If you configure a fabric timer in both system view and VSAN view, the configuration in VSAN view

applies to the VSAN.

Configuring the fabric timers in system view
