Ethernet interface compares the FC-MAP value in the incoming frame with the FC-MAP value configured
for the FIP snooping VLAN:
• If the two FC-MAP values are the same, the Ethernet interface forwards the frames.
• If the two FC-MAP values are different, the Ethernet interface drops the frames.
To configure an FC-MAP value:

Network requirements
As shown in Figure 37 , enable FIP snooping on the Transit switch to achieve reliable communication
between the ENode and FCF switch.
