5.3 Front Panel Display/Keypad
The optional front panel (Figure 5-1) provides the local user interface, which can be used
to configure and monitor the status of the terminal.

The front panel features a 16-character, 2-line LED display and a 6-key keypad. All
functions are accessible at the front panel by entering one of three predefined “SELECT”
categories or levels:
