2. Enter the start address in the
Start Address
field. The start address must be on a 4K
boundary. If the address is not on a 4K boundary, ZDS II produces an error message.
3. Enter the end address in the
End Address
field. If the end address is not a 4K incre-
ment, it is rounded up to a 4K increment.
4. Click
Read
. The checksum is displayed in the
CRC
field.
Calculate File Checksum
Observe the following procedure to calculate the file checksum:
1. Select
Calculate File Checksum
from the
Tools
menu. The
Calculate Checksum
dialog box is displayed; see Figure 73.
2. Click the
Browse
button (
) to select the
.hex
file for which you want to calcu-
late the checksum. The IDE adds the bytes in the files and displays the result in the
checksum field; see Figure 74.
