• PASTE 0dB is the default selection. Pasted content will replace the content already
present.
• PASTE -6dB will attenuate pasted content by 6 dB.
• MIX 0dB will mix pasted content with the content already present.
• MIX -6dB will mix pasted content with the content already present. The mixed audio
will at the same time be attenuated by 6 dB.
ROTATE POS TO START rotates the audio data so that the cursor position becomes the
new start position of the sample.
MIX CHANNELS offers several settings.
• ADD CH L+R will merge the left and right channels of the selected section and dis-
tribute the merged audio to both the left and right channels.
• SUBTRACT CH L-R will subtract the right channel from the left channel and distrib-
ute the result to both the left and right channels.
• SUBTRACT CH R-L will subtract the left channel from the right channel and distrib-
ute the result to both the left and right channels.
• SWAP CH L/R will swap the left channel with the right and vice versa.
INVERT CHANNEL applies phase inversion to the selected section. Two settings exist.
• INVERT CH L&R applies phase inversion to both the left and right channel of the
selected section.
• INVERT CH L applies phase inversion to the left channel of the selected section.
• INVERT CH R applies phase inversion to the left channel of the selected section.
CAL BPM FROM SELECTION will calculate the BPM of the selection by assuming it con-
tains a musical length like 0.5 bars, 1 bar, 2 bars etc. The calculated BPM will be applied to
the ORIGINAL TEMPO setting found in the ATTRIBUTES menu. Useful when calculation
the BPM of a complete track. Select for example 1 bar and perform this command.
CHANGE PREVIEW MODE selects between preview listening modes. Preview listen
through the main outputs by pressing [FUNCTION] + [ENTER/YES]. Preview listen
through the cue outputs by pressing [CUE] + [ENTER/YES].
• PLAY ONCE will preview the selected section once.
• LOOP SELECTION will continiously loop the selected section when preview listen-
ing.
CHANGE VIEW selects how the audio file will be displayed on the LCD screen. This set-
ting is only relevant for stereo samples.
• CH L VIEW displays only the left channel of the audio file.
