Move patients and their wireless monitors
Arrange a patient move from the patient monitor
To arrange a patient move from a Micropaq monitor
1.
Press
to highlight ACUITY, and then press
to select it.
2.
Take one of these steps:
•
Select NEW ROOM to move the patient to a new room within the unit, and then
select a new room.
The patient is confirmed with the new room.
•
Select TRANSFER to transfer the patient to a different unit, select the new unit,
and then select the new room.
The patient is confirmed and the patient’s map icon appears at the new central
station.
To arrange a patient move from a Propaq LT monitor
1.
Press the arrow keys to underline
at the top of the screen, and
then press
to select it.
2.
Select Acuity menu.
3.
Take one of these steps:
•
Select NEW ROOM to move the patient to a new room within the unit, and then
select the new room.
The patient is confirmed with the new room.
•
Select TRANSFER to transfer the patient to a different unit, select the new unit,
and then select the new room.
The patient is confirmed and the patient’s map icon appears at the new central
station.
