Expanded Operating Temperature

10% of annual
operating hours

5 °C to 40 °C, 5% to 85% RH with 26 °C max. dew point.
For temperatures between 35 °C and 40 °C, de-rate maximum
allowable dry bulb temperature by 1 °C/175 meters above 950
meters (1 °F per 319 feet).

1% of annual
operating hours

–5 °C to 45 °C, 5% to 90% RH with 26 °C dew point.
For temperatures between 40 °C and 45 °C, de-rate maximum
allowable dry bulb temperature by 1 °C/125 meters above 950
meters (1 °F per 228 feet).
NOTE: When operating in the expanded temperature range,
ambient temperature warnings may be reported in the System
Event Log.
NOTE: No cold start up below 5 °C.
NOTE: The operating temperature specification is for a
maximum altitude of 3048 meters (10,000 feet).
NOTE: 1U and 2U nodes support the 130W (8 core),
130W (4 core) and 135W processors with the specific
configurations of HDD, PCI-E and Mezzanine card.
Refer to the following statements and matrixes of Fresh
Air Support for details.

The numbers of HDD in the tables below list the total
quantity supported per chassis.

No GPU support.
