Performing Continuous Access XP Journal pair
operations
To perform remote copy operations with Continuous Access XP Journal, you must create pairs of a primary
data volume and a secondary data volume. A primary data volume is a data volume to be copied. A
secondary data volume is a data volume that is the copy destination for a primary data volume. To
manipulate pairs of these data volumes, use the Pair Operation pane of Continuous Access XP Journal.
NOTE:
This guide sometimes uses the term volume pair when referring to a pair of primary and
secondary data volumes.
