RADIUS Parameters
Primary and Backup RADIUS Server Table Parameters
The HP ProCurve Wireless Access Point uses RADIUS authentication and/or accounting support a primary and
backup RADIUS server for MAC-based authentication and a primary and backup RADIUS server for EAP/802.1x
authentication. The configuration parameters and statistics are the same for both primary and backup servers.
The CLI differentiates the primary and backup RADIUS parameters by using the table index:
• Index 1: Primary MAC-based authentication server
• Index 2: Backup MAC-based authentication server
• Index 3: Primary EAP/802.1x authentication server
• Index 4: Backup EAP/802.1x authentication server
