• Enable: The user can perform operations for the product options and operations in the Set Env.
pane. If you want to set the kind of permission for each function in the Permission Information
list, you need to set it to Enable.
The Permission Information box, located at the lower right of the Account pane, lets you set or view the
types of permission established for each of the product options. You need to set the Storage Administrator
Role to Enable for the user accounts for which you want to set permissions.
You can sort each column in the Permission Information list in either ascending or descending order of
the ASCII codes by clicking on the header of the list. The Permission Information list consists of the
following items:
•
No.: Serial number of the Permission Information list.
•
Function / Function Detail: These columns provide a list of the product options and functions. For
each function listed in the Function Detail column, you can set the kind of permission.
lists the function details and availability that you can specify in the Permission Information
list. For the storage administrator user accounts, you can set the permission for all functions. Some
functions are not available for storage partition administrators.
•
Permission: Shows the type of permission established for the operation of each function. Two
types are provided:
• Modify: The user can use the function to perform operations.
• View: The user can view the main pane for each function but is not allowed to perform
operations.
When you select and right-click on a row (or rows) of the function that you want to specify the type of
permission for, a popup menu appears and you can select Modify or View.
