User Information consists of the following items:
•
User ID: Shows the user ID that was set when the user account was registered.
•
SLPR ID: Indicates the type of user account. SA is displayed for storage administrators. For
storage partition administrators, the number and name of the SLPR to which the user account is
registered is displayed in the format“number : name”.
•
Account Administrator Role: From the drop-down list, you can select the operation authority
for the XP Remote Web Console user accounts (this is the operation authority for the Account
pane). However, you are not allowed to change the settings for the default Account Administrator
role that has the user ID of “administrator.”
All users can change their own passwords and view the setting of their own user accounts. However,
the Account Administrator Role must be set to View or Modify to view or modify other user accounts.
The kinds of authority you can select from the drop-down list are as follows:
• Disable: The user can neither view nor modify the settings of other user accounts.
• View: The user can only view the operation authority of other user accounts.
• Modify: The user can add, delete, or change the settings of other user accounts.

Audit Log Administrator Role: Use the drop-down list to select the operation authority for
downloading the audit log information file and performing syslog operations. The authority is not
allowed to be set for user accounts for storage partition administrators.
The types of authority you can select from the drop-down list are as follows:
• Disable: The user cannot perform any operation related to the audit log. The user cannot
use the buttons to download the audit log information file, the Syslog panel, or the Audit
Log panel. For the user accounts of the storage partition administrators, Disable is set and
you are not allowed to change the settings.
• View: The user can use the buttons to download the audit log information file. The user can
also view the settings on the Syslog panel or the Audit Log panel, and download the syslog
information file by using the Syslog panel. However, the user is not allowed to change the
setting of the Syslog panel and the Audit Log panel. The user cannot transfer the audit log
information file manually by using the Audit Log panel either.
• Modify: The user can use the buttons to download the audit log information file. The user can
use the Audit Log panel to configure the FTP servers and transfer the audit log information
file manually. The user can also use the Syslog panel to configure the syslog servers and
download the syslog information file.
•
Storage Administrator Role: Use the drop-down list to select the operation authority for product
options and to operate the Set Env. pane. The types of authority you can select from the
drop-down list are as follows:
• Disable: The user cannot perform operations for the product options or operations in the
Set Env. pane.
