you can specifically request the use of some or all of the additional capacity. Once this additional
capacity is released, the additional memory and LUs are available for normal use. You can set the
On-Demand storage functions using the XP Remote Web Console PC, as described in this section.
The On-Demand storage functions can also be set by your HP account support representative on a
fee-for-service basis. Contact your HP account support representative for additional information.
IMPORTANT:
Once you have extended the cache memory or the LUs using the On-Demand storage functions, you will
not be able to undo your request, and you will be charged for access to the additional capacity.
On-Demand Pane
The On-Demand pane lets you extend the number of LUs and cache memory using the On-Demand
storage functions. To open the On-Demand pane, click Install in the XP Remote Web Console's left
pane. Click the On-Demand tab.
IMPORTANT:
Information in the On-Demand pane may display incorrectly after changing the configuration in the
On-Demand pane if maintenance operations from the SVP are in progress. If this is the case, reopen
the On-Demand pane after maintenance operations are complete.
