NOTE:
If the pair is suspended or deleted during COPY status, the primary data volume's access attribute is
not copied to the secondary data volume. To copy the primary data volume's access attribute to the
secondary data volume, ensure that the pair status is PAIR, and then suspend or delete the pair.
NOTE:
When the primary data volume is in COPY or PAIR status, two access attributes can be changed and
cannot be changed according to the existing access attribute. For more information about the variable
access attribute, see Table 27 .

LUN Security XP Extension license capacity
To create a Continuous Access XP Journal pair using volumes with VMA, if the primary data volume has
an access attribute for which the LUN Security XP Extension license is necessary, you need the LUN
Security XP Extension license capacity for secondary data volumes in the array at the secondary site. This
is because when copying the access attributes is complete, primary and secondary data volumes have
the same access attributes. For more information about copying access attribute, see Figure 40 .
