Normal
This path was successfully established and can be used for Continuous
Access XP Journal remote copy activities.
Nothing
An operation for configuring or deleting this logical path is in progress.
Initialization Failed
An error occurred with the initialization of the connection between the local
and remote array. Probable causes are:
•
No cable is connected to the local array.
•
No cable is connected to the remote array.
•
No cable is connected to the network device that comes between the
local and remote arrays.
Communication Time Out
This status indicates one of the following:
•
A timeout error occurred between the primary and secondary arrays.
•
A logic error was detected between the primary and secondary arrays.
Resource Shortage (Port)
The local array rejected the function for configuring logical path connection.
All logical path resources in the local array might be used for other
connections.
Resource Shortage (Pair-Port)
The remote array rejected the function for configuring logical path
connection. All logical path resources in the remote array might be used
for other connections.
Serial Number Mismatch
The serial number of the array connected to this logical path does not match
the serial number specified by the Add DKC pane.
Invalid Port
The port is not an initiator port.
Pair-Port Number Mismatch
This status indicates one of the following:
•
The specified port number is incorrect.
•
The port in the remote array is physically disconnected from the local
array.
Pair-Port Type Mismatch
The port on the remote array is not an RCU target port.
Communication Failed
A communication timeout error has occurred on the path between the
primary and secondary arrays.
Removing the relationship between primary and secondary
arrays
To remove the relationship between primary and secondary arrays and remove all logical paths between
the two arrays, the primary and secondary array administrators must perform the following procedure:
1.
Ensure that all affected Continuous Access XP Journal volume pairs have been deleted.
2.
Ensure that Command View XP or XP Remote Web Console is in Modify mode. For more information,
see the HP StorageWorks Command View XP user guide for XP Disk Arrays or the HP StorageWorks
XP Remote Web Console user guide for XP12000/XP10000/SVS200.
3.
Display the DKC Operation pane.
4.
In the Switch Display box, select DKC.
5.
Select Subsystem from the tree. The list displays remote arrays.
6.
Select and right-click the remote arrays from the list.
7.
Select DKC Operations and Delete DKC. A confirmation message appears.
8.
Click OK to close the message.
