Downloading log files to the SSH client

You can download or delete core files output by RAID Manager XP on the List of RAS Information (List

of Core Files) window provided in NAS Blade Manager. For details, see the NAS Blade Manager

User's Guide.
To review RAID Manager XP log files, except core files, if the RAID Manager XP command terminates in

an error or to save log files before deleting them, you can download them by executing the following scp

command in the SSH client.

For log files that RAID Manager XP (instance number 16) output:
scp {-1|-2} -r
nasroot@fixed-IP-address-of-the-NAS-package:/home/nasroot/log16
directory-name-on-the-SSH-client-to-download

For log files that RAID Manager XP (instance number 17) output:
scp {-1|-2} -r
nasroot@fixed-IP-address-of-the-NAS-package:/home/nasroot/log17
directory-name-on-the-SSH-client-to-download

The following message (* means an instance number) is output and the scp command ends with return

code 1. This means there are no problems.
scp: /home/nasroot/log*/do_not_remove: Permission denied
