Network Testing with the FrameScope Pro

Select whether to perform the UDP or TCP throughput test.

Press Data Size (MB).

Enter the desired amount of data to be transferred.

Press Start to start the test.
Predefined data is transferred across the network repeatedly
to achieve the specified data size.
The results include:
•
the total amount of data transferred (in MB)
•
an instantaneous value for the data transfer rate (in Mbps)
•
the instantaneous value for the delay (in seconds)
•
the average, minimum, and maximum transfer rates (in
Mbps)
•
the total test time
Downloading and Viewing Results with a Web Browser
The results can be viewed in a HTML table in a web browser if
the web server in the FrameScope Pro is enabled.
The results can also be downloaded and viewed as a .CSV file, as
described in
, “Test Database” on page 242.
N O T E
The measurement for the TCP throughput is limited by the WINCE TCP/IP
overhead.
