E-mail Server
The E-mail Server test verifies that the email server is accessible
and measures the access time and download rate of the email.
Test setup
The first setup screen is used to type in the name or address of
the email server and the user name and password, if required.
The second setup screen is used to select the method of
operations, and configure the send and receive methods. The
default port addresses are provided.
The last setup screen provides a list of measurements
performed during the test. Select a measurement from the list
and press Edit to view and modify the thresholds used to rate the
performance of the measurement.
N O T E
If the email server and email domain names differ, the entry for User
Name
has to include its domain name. For example, if the email server
name is pop3.agilent.com.sg and the email domain name is
agilent.com.sg
, type in [email protected] in the User Name field.
