Each iteration shown is based on the RTCP message exchanged
during the VoIP test.
• The Inter-arrival Jitter, Total Packet Loss, and Packet Loss Ratio
are based on the received RTP packets. Packet Round-trip Delay
is based on the RTCP packet information.
• R-Factor and Mean Opinion Score are based on Inter-arrival Jitter,
Total Packet Loss , Packet Loss Ratio, and Packet Round-trip Delay.
If no RTCP packet is sent, then Packet Round-trip Delay will be
set to zero.
• Total Packets Sent reports the number of packets sent from the
FrameScope Pro.
• Total Packet Lost is based on RFC 1889/3550 “Cumulative
Number of Packets Lost”.
• Packet Loss Ratio is based on RFC 1889/3550 “Fraction Lost”.
• Total Packets Discarded refers to the number of packets
dropped at the receiving side if there are errors in the RTP
header information.
• Packet Discard Ratio refers to the discarded packet ratio for
each RTCP interval.
