Novell Server
The Novell Server allows you to add and test a Novell-based
server.
Test setup
If Active Discovery does not detect the Novell server-under-test,
then it can be manually added. The first setup screen is used to
type in the name or address of the server. The next setup screen
provides a list of measurements performed during the test.
Select a measurement from the list and press Edit to view and
modify the thresholds used to rate the performance of the
measurement.
The following measurements are taken during the test.
Name Lookup The request or response time for converting a
name into an address.
PING Response The time taken to perform an ICMP Echo test
on the server.
