FTP Server
The FTP Server Test allows you to test the designated server in
three ways.
• No File Access
• Read
• Write
The name look-up time, connect time, disconnect time, read
time, read rate, write time, write rate, and file size results are
presented accordingly.
Test setup
If Active Discovery does not detect the FTP server-under-test,
then it can be manually added. You can type in the user name
and password to access the FTP server. If the user name and
password fields are left blank, anonymous login is used.
Type in the name of the proxy server and port if required. Both
Active and Passive FTP transaction modes are supported. Press
Next
to continue the setup.
If required, type in the user name

login, leave these fields blank.
If required, type in the name of
proxy server and port number here
Select the check box if the Active
FTP transaction mode is used. Clear
for Passive transaction mode.
