Configuring the DSL Test
Setting Up the VIT-A2
Press Config on the main DSL screen to set or view the operating
mode, bridge, and router settings of the VIT-A2. Select Bridge or
Router
for the operating mode on the Config screen.
• In the Bridge operating mode, you can select the ATM VC
interface. You can also edit or add interfaces. Each interface
contains information on the following parameters.
• VPI: Set the Virtual Path Identifier (between 0 and 255).
• VCI: Set the Virtual Channel Identifier (between 0 and
6535).
• Encapsulation: Select between LLC/SNAP or VCMux
encapsulation.
• Mode: Select between DHCP (RFC 2684 Bridged) or
PPPoE.
Once you have selected a Bridge interface, press Commit to
confirm and use the interface.
