DSL Testing with the FrameScope Pro

Framing mode (amount of overhead contained in the ADSL
data frames)
•
Mode 0: ADSL data frames contain full overhead
information
•
Mode 1 to 3: ADSL data frames contain reduced overhead
information
The Bit Allocation shows the current range of carriers. Use the
left and right navigation buttons to scroll through the
subcarriers.
The graph contains information on 32 of the currently selected
carriers, the number of bits assigned to each, and the direction
(upstream or downstream). Upstream bits are displayed in
green while downstream bits are displayed in blue.
Press Update to get the current allocation from the VIT-A2.
Resynchronizing the VIT-A2 with the DSLAM
Press Resync on the Advanced screen to resynchronize the
VIT-A2 with the DSLAM.
Getting details on the VIT-A2 and events during testing
Press Details on the Advanced screen to call the Details screen.
The Details screen will display the VIT-A2 device version
information and a log screen of the events that occurred during
the test.
